There was a time when I peed my pants doing a light walk down the street. Even as a fit personal trainer and Pilates instructor I had a very traumatic first birth where my body was extremely injured, causing years of core rebuilding, pelvic floor rebuilding and being patient to find out exact steps I needed to heal as much as I could without surgery.

But it didn't go away even a few years later. I had a very severe prolapse and a detached muscle. It was debilitating, embarrassing and caused huge anxiety in me. I have however avoided surgery and found the answers in movement.I started to refine the type of exercise I was doing, change the way I did core work. Approached strength and cardio very differently, and learned the importance of being able to relax as well as contract my muscles at will.
