Vanessa Bartlett is a holistic personal trainer, lifestyle coach, presenter and single mum dedicated to helping people around the world reclaim their energy through fitness after stress and burnout. Having overcome her own journey through exhaustion, she now empowers others to use movement as a powerful tool for recovery and vitality. What equipment do I need for routines?

This is a home-based workout program. You will need : a mat, resistance band, and 1-2 sets of dumbbells (absolute beginners will use 3-5kg each hand, intermediates will use 5-8kg each hand) that are used later in the program. You will use bodyweight only and your mat for the first five weeks to ensure you build your movement foundations and energy properly for stamina and success long term. So you can get started without too much at all and get the equipment at about week 4 or 5 if you do not have it.

How much time do I need each week to complete this program?

This is a total body and mind reboot - so allow extra time outside of the workouts for tutorials, planning and checking in so you can achieve the absolute best results possible. I recommend you allow 20-30 mins a day for exercise (some will be rest days though, check your schedule for this), plus 1-2 hours a week for tutorials, food planning and reflection time. I'll help you re-evaluate and plan your schedule as soon as you log in to start, so do not worry about this at all! Everything will fall into place.

Can I do this if I am stressed, tired and unfit?

Yes! This is exactly why I created the program - to allow fitness to be accessible and doable for those who may have fallen off the health and fitness wagon and want to jump back in. If you are stressed, tired and unfit you know that you need to start something, so I have removed the challenges like overdoing it and trying to know what to do so you can ease your way back in and feel good doing it. In 12 weeks you will start to feel and see a difference and you will have reduced stress and gained back energy and movement once again, plus much more.

I have dietary needs - what recipes are included?

There is a focus on flexible, nourishing eating that will help your body regain energy from the inside out. So I have included the best flexible meals plans giving you breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack ideas that are easy to make and nutritious. I have partnered with expert nutritionists to bring you these meal plans, which also contain easy to follow direct links to recipes plus nutrition info. In Fatigued to Fit you will receive all these plans : A REGULAR (MEAT INCLUSIVE) plan covering over 50 meal ideas, a VEGETARIAN plan covering over 24 meal ideas, a DAIRY & GLUTEN FREE plan covering over 30 meal ideas. So you will have lots of ideas that will fit right into your needs! Mix and match them all if you like and if that suits your needs, or stick with the one you feel is best for you. They are yummy - all of them.
