You've got questions. I've got answers for you.
All you need is a mat, resistance band and a couple of sets of dumbbells. You will gain strength quickly so ensure you have a heavier set ready to go in a few weeks! For now though, 1 x set is fine to get you going. If you are a total beginner to strength training, then 2-5kg would be enough to start with. As you get stronger you would need 6-8 kg for each hand.
I wrok with alot of people in this phase, and in this case, no, Body Lean is not suitable. If you are struggling with every low energy and have more going on with your health, then the 12 Week FATIGUED TO FIT program and the ADRENAL FIT program would be better suited to you. Adrenal Fit goes one step further, really bringing things back to a palce of being able to do exercise (minimally) if your energy is severely low and you are in a not-so-great state of burnout, for example. Body Lean has been created for those who have generally good health and can work to a focus of strength and fat loss.
If you are pregnant, then head to the PREGGY STRONG program which has been designed specifically for pregnant woment to be able to move safely through all trimesters of pregnancy. Body Lean does not include the modifications needed for your pregnancy, whereas PREGGY STRONG does. If you are beyond your 6 week check up, have the doctors 'ok' to exercise PLUS have no abdominal separation, then YES Body Lean would be suited to you. I have also included vegetarian and gluten-free plans in here incase you need to work from those plans! There are weekly menus planned, otherwise you can pick and choose a few recipes simply to get ideas on what healthier eating looks like for you.
